Ahsan possess over 29 years of work experience in Supply Chain Management, Entrepreneurship, Business Leadership, Quality, Health & Safety and Environment Management, Project Management, Consulting and Training with global Fortune 500 companies at Operations and Holding Company level in various industries. With his demonstrated strengths in areas of Strategy Development & Deployment, Customer, Technology and Cost Focus, and Sustainability and his focus on improvisation based on creative use of his experiences, Ahsan helps businesses achieve cost and service level transformation through consulting and training.

Ahsan carries a unique blend of experience with brand owners, distributors, retailers, holding companies, and logistics service providers in several geographies and industries.

Ahsan’s 21 years’ work tenure was with blue chip companies like Procter & Gamble (www.pg.com), Henkel (www.henkel.com), and Olayan Financing Company (www.olayan.com), Dawn Bread Lahore (www.dawnbread,com.pk). Ahsan has served at General Manager and Chief Supply Chain Officer levels in his career.

Ahsan has provided full and part time consulting and training services for over 16 years (with 7 dedicated years in consulting) to companies like Basamh Group, Savola Group (Supply Chain Transformation), Sunbulah Group (Supply Chain Career Path), Saudi ReadyMix (Supply Chain Assessment), Saudi Telecom (Procurement Department), Turk Henkel Istanbul (Supply Chain Planning), Furthermore, Ahsan has conducted several trainings for multiple clients.

Ahsan has been engaged in several industries such as Fast-Moving Consumer Goods, Health Care, Food Services, Engineering, and Consulting with brand owners and Manufacturers (Nestle, Mondelez, Colgate Palmolive, Coca Cola, Kimberly Clark, General Mills, Goody, Savola etc.,) and distributors (Basamh Trading Company, Olayan General Trading Company, Afia Distribution Company, etc.), Restaurants (Burger King), Health Care, Contracting (Voltas, Olayan Real Estate etc.), Oil & Gas (Olayan Descon, DHL EXEL), Consulting (ATOS, CH2M Hill) to name a few.

Ahsan has developed adoptive Change Management Expertise to bring other on-board to be able to deliver the recommendations. He strives to make an organization aware of what can be done to improve, and then help them to make those changes leading to the improvements.

Geographically, Ahsan’s has worked and provided consulting services in Pakistan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain and Qatar.

Ahsan’s focus on technology helps companies increase efficiency and become sustainable. He implemented SAP S4HANA for all three companies as Project Director in record time of 18 month with all legacy systems switched off. He coached and trained all supply chain and wider organization to best in class supply chain practices and implementation of KPIs.

Ahsan holds Bachelors and Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Kansas State University, USA. Ahsan has been a guest speaker in various Supply Chain, Quality Management, Health & Safety and Environment conferences and is also a Lead Auditor Certification for ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, and ISO 14001 and NEBOSH Certification.
